Privacy policy

A clear view of your data.

This page explains what ParentCaddy stores, how it supports your season, and how to request access or deletion.

Who runs ParentCaddy

ParentCaddy is operated by Golf from the Ground Up LLC. For privacy questions or requests, email kbparkman@groundupgolfing.com.

Information you choose to provide

An account uses your email address and an account identifier. Google Firebase Authentication handles your password and account verification. ParentCaddy does not store your password in its workspace database.

Your workspace can include player names, birth dates or ages, graduation years, golf experience, Handicap Index, results, goals, preferred regions, travel starting location, tournament selections, notes, budgets, and trip details. Add only information you have the right to share. A player nickname can be used in place of a full name.

How storage works

You can explore with a copy saved in this browser. Signing in with a verified account lets you create a separate workspace stored on ParentCaddy’s server and restore it on another device. Browser copies remain on that device until cleared. Account workspaces use revision history to recover earlier saves.

We use your information to provide matching, scheduling, budgets, account access, saved workspaces, support, and protection against errors or abuse. Recommendations use the profile and tournament facts available at the time.

Travel searches and other services

When you request a travel comparison, the relevant provider receives the search details it needs: destination or airports, dates, rooms, travelers’ ages, and rental requirements such as driver age and country of residence. Configured providers include SerpApi, SearchApi, and ReefAPI. Your full player profile and account password are not part of a travel search. Quotes expire; a live offer is not a reservation.

Account services use Google Firebase. Website hosting and storage use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These services can process technical information such as IP addresses, request time, browser details, and errors to operate and secure the service. Public tournament pages may be fetched through document retrieval providers; player profiles are not sent for those calendar checks.

Organizer and booking links open independent websites with their own privacy policies. ParentCaddy does not process a hotel, airline, rental-car, or tournament payment. Do not enter card details, identity documents, medical information, or reservation access codes in player notes.

Junior players and family accounts

Account holders must be adults. A parent or legal guardian may use ParentCaddy to plan for a junior player and should control the account and information entered. Children under 13 must not create an account or submit information directly. If you believe a child submitted personal information directly, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required. ParentCaddy does not publish private player profiles as a public directory.

Cookies, browser storage, and advertising

Authentication and workspace features use browser storage and service cookies needed to keep you signed in and preserve your work. This release does not include advertising pixels or sell private player profiles. If optional advertising or analytics tracking is introduced, this policy and any required choices will be updated before that tracking is enabled.

Your choices and retention

Edit your profile and plans in the application. Use Data & export to download a copy of your workspace. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and server workspace, email us from your account address with the subject “ParentCaddy data request.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting. Do not send a password.

We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the service, support recovery and security, and meet applicable obligations. Some logs or backup records may remain for those limited purposes after active account data is removed. Deleting an account does not clear copies exported by you, records held by organizers or booking providers, or browser storage on other devices. Clear local site data on each device separately.

Updates

We will update this page when these practices change and identify the new effective date. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated through the service or account email where appropriate.
